Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Commander and 2024 Warrior fire engines. The rim weld may crack, causing the wheel to separate and tire to deflate.
Risk:
Wheel and/or tire failure increases the risk of a crash.
What to do:
Owners are advised not to drive their vehicles until the remedy has been completed. Dealers will replace the wheels and tires as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 19, 2026. Owners may contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000.

Electrical System

What's wrong:
Rosenbauer America is recalling certain 2020-2022 Avenger, 2017-2024 Commander, 2020-2024 Warrior, 2023 Commercial F-350, F-550, 108SD, and 2024 Commercial 114SD vehicles. In the event of a short circuit or wiring failure, the firmware may fail to shut off the output pin, resulting in overloaded electrical circuits.
Risk:
Overloaded electrical circuits can overheat, increasing the risk of fire.
What to do:
Dealers will update the firmware, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 22, 2024. Owners may contact Rosenbauer America customer service at 1-651-462-1000.

What's wrong:
Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2023-2024 Commander fire trucks equipped with certain independent front suspension assemblies. The lower control arm retention bolts can become brittle and break after being tightened.
Risk:
A broken bolt head can become a projectile, increasing the risk of an injury.
What to do:
Dealers will inspect and replace the bolts as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were be mailed September 16, 2024. Owners may contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000.

Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2019-2022 Avenger, 2019-2024 Commander, and Warrior fire trucks equipped with an Innovative Controls instrument panel. A software error may cause the odometer to freeze and not display accurate mileage.
Risk:
An inaccurate odometer reading can unintentionally delay critical safety-related maintenance, potentially impairing the safe operation of the vehicle and increasing the risk of a crash.
What to do:

What's wrong:
Rosenbauer America (Rosenbauer) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Commander, 2026 Commercial M2-106, and Commercial HV507 emergency vehicles, equipped with certain Weldon UV800 Display Unit user interfaces. The display may stop responding to touch commands or fail to power on, preventing the activation of exterior emergency lights, fire fighting and other emergency equipment.
Risk:
A loss of exterior lights can reduce the visibility of the vehicle to other drivers, increasing the risk of a crash. Inoperative equipment can delay emergency response, increasing the risk of injury.
What to do:
Dealers will update the firmware and install a monitor system, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 12, 2026. Owners may contact Rosenbauer customer service at 1-651-462-1000.
