Delete your Manage My Ride account

This page explains how to delete your Manage My Ride account and the data synced to it; deletion is permanent, cannot be undone, and takes effect immediately.

Delete it yourself

The fastest path is from inside the app or the web dashboard — the account is gone the moment you confirm. On the phone, Delete Account only shows while you're signed in.

On the web

  1. Sign in at managemyride.io.
  2. Open Settings.
  3. Under Danger zone, choose Delete account.
  4. Confirm with your password.

On iPhone

  1. Tap the person icon on My Rides to open Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Enter your password to confirm.

On Android

  1. Tap the gear icon at the top of My Rides to open Settings.
  2. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
  3. Enter your password to confirm.

If you can't sign in

Email support@managemyride.io from the email address on the account with the subject “Delete my account”. We delete the account within 7 days and confirm by reply to that address. The address on the account is how we know the request is yours, so a request from any other address can't be honored.

What gets deleted

When your account is deleted, we delete your account and associated synced data:

  • the account itself — your email address and hashed password;
  • the vehicles saved to it, with their mileage, maintenance, repairs, fix-it lists and reminders;
  • your recall-alert settings;
  • the sync data on our servers, including any push subscriptions.

Deleting it yourself takes effect immediately; by email, within 7 days. Both sit inside the thirty (30) days the Privacy Policy commits to.

What's kept

Nothing tied to your account survives, except where retention is required by law or for legitimate operational purposes (such as fraud prevention or financial recordkeeping). What remains:

  • Anonymised analytics that were never tied to the account — aggregate visit counts made with a one-way, daily-rotating hash, and Vercel Analytics page-view totals.
  • Payment records we must keep — Stripe and App Store receipts — for the legally required period.
  • Server logs and support email, on the Privacy Policy's own schedule: standard server logs for up to ninety (90) days, support correspondence for up to two (2) years.

Data on your phone. Vehicle data stored on your device persists until you delete it or uninstall the App. Deleting your account removes what is on our servers; vehicles that were only ever on the phone are yours to delete from the device.

The retention terms above are quoted from the Data Retention section of our Privacy Policy; where this page and the policy differ, the policy is what applies.
